A major concern facing our
family members is isolation.

The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services’ Employment and Modernization Fund allows The Community Oak Park to offer programs that are free with a small registration fee. Included are classes like American Sign Language, Spin, Nia, Cooking and Nutrition. Programs are open to the entire community and all abilities.

  • Our Community Facilitator works with individuals moving into homes of their own to help them find valued social roles, one individual at a time based on their interests and skills.

  • Individuals in our programs  are given leadership roles.
