Spring Complimentary American Sign Language Course!

Date: April 3rd, 2023 - June 5th, 2023

Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Location: Iroquois Ridge Community Centre

TCOP is offering a complimentary 8 week course in American Sign Language, in partnership with The Oakville Public Library

In this 8 week course, participants will learn beginner skills in American Sign Language. This course is for participants aged 12+. This is a fun and interactive program for anyone interested in learning conversational sign language! Skills Learned: Communication, Information Literacy, Social Skills

WHAT IS A TCOP POP UP PICNIC?
Oakville has acres of parkland for people of all ages to enjoy!
This summer TCOP invites you to get outside, pack a picnic and explore our highlighted parks and Oakville's green spaces!

HOW IT WORKS!
o Each Sunday we will be posting the Pop-Up Park of the week.
o Prepare our highlighted recipe, pack a picninc, go for a walk, grab a book, or do what you enjoy most!
o For added fun get in the groove with TRIPYX.

The Community Oak Park in partnership with the Town of Oakville is offering a drop-in weekly Intro to Yoga class. Classes are being held at the Oakville Trafalgar Community Centre.

COOKING CLASSES:

Our Cooking classes are a fun and informative culinary experience, which is inclusive of all abilities. Our classes are demonstrative, interactive, and hands-on. You will learn the basics and meet others from the community.

Our American Sign Language classes are taught in a conversational and fun environment, which is inclusive of all abilities. You will learn the basics to be able to converse with others in this beautiful language and meet others from the community.
